A Safe Direction

A Kevlar-lined gun case can safely catch an accidental discharge.

Given the great increase in citizens who have a carry permit, the understanding that firearms are not in and of themselves hazardous is spreading. However, the most potentialy hazardous operations are loading and unloading. Sitting there in your holster, your handgun is inert. But when you handle it to load or unload, things can happen. And there are things more tragic than putting a hole in the floorboard of your Buick.

Steve Camp and Safe Direction are here to your rescue. The Safe Direction gun case is pretty simple: a Kevlar-lined pistol case. But they went a step further. Steve has the company logo designed as a patch that is an aiming point. Each case has one sewn to the outside.

Loading and unloading are simple: Place the case on a flat surface. Press the muzzle of your pistol directly against the patch. Now, if you should happen to have an accident while loading or unloading, the case will take the hit and stop the bullet.

If you have an accidental discharge at, say, a shooting school, you may still be ejected from the premises, but at least with the Safe Direction case you haven't put a hole in furniture, vehicles, walls or (God forbid) people. And since the Kevlar of the case envelopes the bullet, you probably can't even hurt yourself.

It isn't body armor, but it is furniture bullet-proofing. Safe Direction 877/357-4570
