The Enhanced Micro Pistol is built from the ground up to run short-action cartridges such as 9mm, .40 S&W and .45 GAP. Springfield engineers downsized the frame and slide and redesigned 15 different parts to come up with a production 1911 that weighs just 23 ounces; with its three-inch barrel it measures a diminutive 6.6 inches overall.
